testing, testing 1 2 3 - part three

Photobucket

Another test shot which falls into the category of "random stuff around the house". This time it's the inside of my fridge (again). Since I don't use my 600 cameras a lot I don't usually keep 600 film around, so I tore the pack filter off a pack of sx70 blend and used a dark slide to insert it in the camera.

testing, testing 1 2 3 - part two

Photobucket Photobucket

These were the first two pictures to come out of the wonderfully expired pack of 600 film I found in one of my new cameras. The pics got stuck in the rollers of the polaroid extreme and so the chemicals failed to spread. I kinda smushed them out with my fingers while they were still soft creating this pattern. I'll definitely do something amazing with these pics, but I haven't decided what yet. Meanwhile, I'm adding them to the collection here -->

testing, testing 1 2 3 - part one

Photobucket

I've been testing a couple of polaroid 600 cameras this week, which are soon going to be up for adoption. One of them had a film pack inside with four pictures remaining. They turned out this lovely pastel orange. Of course, as usual when film/camera testing, I end up with several cat pictures as well as pictures of random things around the house.

things to be excited about

Photobucket

I have a few things coming up over the next few months!

First of all, I'll have a few polaroids in Bonjourpola's upcoming book, which is a collection of pictures by the artists who have appeared on the site in the course of 2010. Judging by this year's daily polaroids there is going to be some stunning work included!

The brand new online magazine dedicated to film photography, Films and Grains requested some polaroids for their first issue, due to be published on February 4th.

And finally, I'm due to make another appearance in an upcoming issue of tristesse (engraved) devoted entirely to polaroid photography.

Can't wait to see what else 2011 has in store for me!
